Linen Rentals in NJ

Tablecloths, table runners, napkins, chair covers, chair sashes, draping — every color, every fabric, every size for weddings and events in Hunterdon, Somerset, Morris, and Bergen counties.

Last June, a bride in Tewksbury walked into our Glen Gardner showroom carrying a single eucalyptus stem and a swatch of dusty-sage silk from her bridesmaid dresses. She wanted twenty-two reception tables to feel like the inside of a greenhouse at golden hour. We pulled a sage satin tablecloth, an ivory hemstitch runner, and a blush napkin folded into the charger. By the time the candles were lit at 7:30 p.m., her photographer told us it looked like the room had grown out of the linen. That is what good event linen does.

Linen Categories We Rent

Our linen inventory is built for the realities of New Jersey events: outdoor weddings in June heat, corporate galas in hotel ballrooms, baby showers in backyards, and the occasional last-minute reorder when a planner counts heads and finds an extra table. Here is what we keep in stock, in volume, and ready to ship.

Tablecloths

Our round tablecloths come in four standard diameters: 90", 108", 120", and 132". On a 60-inch round table (which seats 8 to 10 guests), 108" gives a lap-length look with about 15" of fabric hanging on each side — the most common choice for weddings and corporate dinners. 120" delivers a full-drop tablecloth that touches the floor and hides table legs, which photographers tend to prefer. 132" is the maximum, used for layered linens or when you want the fabric to puddle elegantly. For 6-foot and 8-foot banquet tables, we carry rectangular drapes sized to give either a half-drop or a full floor-length finish.

Table Runners

Our runners are 12" wide by 108" long. They are the easiest way to add an accent fabric — sequin, lace, burlap, velvet — without committing the full table to a specialty linen. Runners are especially popular on farm tables (where you want the wood grain visible) and on head tables, sweetheart tables, and long banquet seating where a single sweep of color reads beautifully from across the room. Two runners can also cross perpendicular for a four-quadrant look on rounds.

Napkins

We stock 20" linen napkins (the standard for upscale weddings and plated dinners) and 17" polyester napkins (the workhorse for cocktail receptions, buffets, and corporate lunches). Pair napkins with the tablecloth as a tonal match, or use them as the contrast color — a navy napkin on an ivory tablecloth, a burnt-orange napkin against sage, a black napkin on a white linen for a clean modern look. Folded into the charger, draped over the plate, or tied with a sprig of rosemary, the napkin is where most of your color story actually lands.

Chair Covers

Chair covers are polyester slipcovers designed to fit our standard folding chairs and most folding chairs you might rent from another vendor. They cinch at the back with a tie or hook-and-loop band to keep the silhouette clean. We typically recommend chair covers when the chairs themselves are utilitarian (white plastic folders, brown wood folders) and you want a uniform, formal look for a ceremony or reception. If you have already upgraded to Chiavari or cross-back chairs, you usually do not need covers.

Chair Sashes

Sashes tie around the back of a chair as a decorative accent and come in organza (sheer, formal), satin (sheen, traditional), and burlap (rustic, casual). They are the most common way to add color to ceremony seating — a single sash on every fifth chair to mark an aisle, or sashes on every chair in your wedding palette. Sashes also work on reception chair covers and on Chiavari chairs where the wood is otherwise the only color note.

Skirting + Draping

For buffet tables, gift tables, and cake tables, we rent table skirting that pleats along the front and sides to hide table legs, totes, and cords. For larger installations, we offer pipe-and-drape backdrops for ceremonies, sweetheart tables, and step-and-repeat photo walls, plus ceiling draping for tented weddings and ballrooms where you want a soft, romantic canopy effect. Draping is usually quoted alongside our tent rentals for full event packages.

Fabrics, Sheens, and Colors

Polyester is the workhorse of event linen — available in every color we stock, durable enough to survive backyard grass and corporate banquet halls, and priced for budgets that need to cover 200 guests without flinching. If you are renting for a graduation party, a family reunion, a corporate lunch, or a wedding where the linens are background to the florals, polyester is what we will quote.

Satin adds a soft sheen that photographs beautifully under candles and uplighting. It is the standard upgrade for formal weddings, galas, and any event where the table itself is meant to read as elegant. Sequins are a statement fabric — we usually recommend sequin tablecloths only on the head table, the sweetheart table, or the cake table, where they read as the visual anchor of the room without overwhelming every place setting.

Lace and burlap are the rustic combination — ivory lace overlays over burlap underskirts work for barn weddings, vineyard receptions, and bridal showers where the venue itself has wood beams or stone. Velvet is the winter and holiday answer: emerald, burgundy, navy, and rust velvet tablecloths and runners add weight and warmth to December weddings and corporate holiday parties.

Custom colors: send us your color swatch (a paint chip, a fabric scrap, even a screenshot of the bridesmaid dresses) and we will match within our inventory or source it for you. Most exact matches are already in stock.

What is Included — And How Cleaning Works

Every linen rental includes delivery and pickup across our service area, with same-week or same-day delivery available for in-stock colors. Linens arrive pressed and bagged by table — one bag per table, labeled by size and color, so your caterer or planner can drop them on the right table without sorting through a single pile.

No washing required. When the event ends, shake off food debris, candle wax, and confetti, place the used linens in the provided laundry bags, and return them as-is. We handle all dry cleaning and pressing in-house. Small stains, wax drips, and food spills are normal and expected — we do not charge for routine cleaning.

Damage policy: burns from candles, cigarette holes, and tears are assessed individually based on whether the linen can be repaired and re-rented. Missing linens are billed at replacement cost. We send a written damage report within 5 business days of pickup so there are no surprises on the invoice.

Linen Delivery Across Central & Northern NJ

We deliver linens to weddings, corporate events, and private parties throughout Hunterdon, Somerset, Morris, and Bergen counties — including venues from Glen Gardner to Morristown, Bridgewater to Bernardsville. Pair linens with other rentals for a full event setup.
